Jeff is the Senior Director of New Missions at Planet where he orchestrates the development of new commercial space missions, like Pelican and Tanager, and other next-gen R&D programs. Prior to his current role, Jeff, was the Mission Director for the Tanager Hyperspectral mission where he led the associated spacecraft, commercial product and business development initiatives. Jeff represents Planet as a key stakeholder in the Carbon Mapper public-private partnership and is responsible for delivering a major pillar of this ambitious climate enterprise. Jeff has been a program manager, satellite operator and developer for Planet, Google and the US Air Force acting as a driver for all life stages of a space program from inception through sustainment. Jeff received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and his MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
