Mike Katrivanos, Program Manager and Chief Systems Engineer

Mr. Michael Katrivanos is the Program Manager and Chief Systems Engineer for the Tactical Network Modeling effort in the National Center for Space Technology (NCST) at the Naval Research Laboratory. This revolutionary capability, conceived and developed under his leadership, was successfully used to test and evaluate the Space Development Agency (SDA) Tranche 0 proliferated Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation. Mr. Katrivanos was responsible for evaluating the SDA satellite vendors for space network interoperability, a key functionality for deploying the missile warning system in future LEO Tranches for the tactical grid. While working at NRL, Mr. Katrivanos has reached across multiple organizations to bridge gaps between agencies such as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), US Space Force, the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and established memoranda of agreement with the National Security Agency (NSA).
